While all the top male golfers are busy winning millions in the Tour Championship, the female golfers are grinding themselves in TPC Boston for the FM Championship. The tournament started on August 29. Here, you will know the detailed prizes and payouts for the FM Championship 2024.
Lydia Ko will start the tournament confidently after winning last week’s AIG Women’s Open. Women’s PGA Championship winner Amy Yang will be competing for the trophy. Hannah Green, who won the LA Championship and HSBC Women’s Championship this year, has struggled to find some form. There will be players like Rose Zhang, Jin Young Ko, and many more in the tournament.
A total of 144 players will participate in the tournament. A cut will be made after the second round. You will be able to watch the live stream on NBC Sports app or Peacock. Golf Channel will broadcast the delayed version of the event on television.
FM Championship 2024 Purse:
The FM Championship 2024 Purse is $3.8 Million. the winner will get a payout of $570,000. This is by far the biggest prize money for a regular LPGA event this season. The prize money will be distributed to the top 65 ties.
The player in the second position in the tournament will receive $358,437, and the third-standing player will get $260,020. Apart from the prize money, the winner will receive 500 Race to the CME Globe points.
